Hyundai Motor Group, which participated in the CIIE for the fifth time this year, used hydrogen energy, electrification, imported cars and future mobility as keywords to demonstrate its prediction of future industry trends.
In the field of hydrogen energy, compared with Toyota's booth at the CIIE, which mainly focused on the concept of using hydrogen fuel cell vehicles to "provide free travel for everyone", Hyundai Motor Group highlighted the construction of a hydrogen energy society.

Its exhibits this time include: NEXO China version developed according to Chinese regulations and standards, XCIENT Fuel Cell, the world's first mass-produced hydrogen fuel cell heavy truck, and HTWO brand hydrogen fuel cell system and other hydrogen energy products, hydrogen energy technology and hydrogen energy ecology.
Among them, HTWO Guangzhou is Hyundai Motor Group's first overseas hydrogen fuel cell system research and development, production and sales base. Relying on this base, Hyundai Motor has recently established a joint venture company with relevant partners in the field of hydrogen energy in China. The goal is to build the world's first unmanned hydrogen energy vehicle demonstration zone, carry out hydrogen energy smart service demonstration operations, and continue to build a hydrogen energy ecology.
At the same time, IONIQ 6, the first sedan under the Hyundai Motor IONIQ ( Parameter | Inquiry ) brand, ushered in its debut in China.
Based on the E-GMP platform, the car has a low drag coefficient of 0.21Cd, a single charge can exceed 610km (WLTP standard) maximum cruising range and low energy consumption of less than 14kWh/100km. Also based on this platform is the Kia EV6 GT-Line, which jointly demonstrates Hyundai Motor Group's design concept and transformation determination for the electrification era.
Also on the Hyundai booth is MobED (Mobile Eccentric Droid), a small mobile platform that debuted in China for the first time. As a "quadruped robot", the MobED platform covers an area of ​​less than 0.5 square meters. Four independent suspension eccentric wheels are installed on the low and flat rectangular body, and the wheelbase and steering angle can be freely adjusted to achieve smooth movement.
Behind the sluggish sales of Hyundai and Kia in China, this company is still a global automaker group that continues to grow. The forward-looking vision and extensive layout displayed at the CIIE also show its expectation for a comeback in the Chinese market .
