In terms of appearance, there is a big difference between the BYD Destroyer 05 and the Qin PLUSDM-i. The BYD Destroyer 05 adopts the BYD "Marine Aesthetics" design concept, and the front face uses many marine design elements, which is highly recognizable. Size, the new car's length, width, and height were 4780/1837/1495mm, wheelbase of 2718mm, positioned as a compact car.

In terms of the interior, the overall style of the Destroyer 05 is relatively simple. A good sense of technology is created through the 8.8-inch full LCD meter, three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, and a suspended multimedia touch screen. The top model has a 15.6-inch center control screen, and the rest of the versions have a 12.8-inch center control screen. In terms of configuration, the new car is equipped with DiLink intelligent network system, which is equipped with an intelligent voice interaction system, in-car Bluetooth, in-car Wi-Fi, in-car Karaoke entertainment system, and OTA remote upgrade as standard. High-end models are also equipped with DiPilot intelligent driving assistance system, specifically including stop-and-go full-speed adaptive cruise control, cornering speed control, active lane keeping, lane departure warning, traffic sign intelligent recognition system, etc. In addition, the new car adopts sports one-piece seats and a two-color design, which enhances the sporty feeling inside the car. In terms of configuration, it offers a 6-way power adjustment for the driver's seat and a 4-way power adjustment for the passenger seat.

Power and range, power, Destroyer 05 is equipped with a power system consisting of a prime-cloud-insert special 1.5L high-efficiency engine, EHS electric hybrid system, and DM-i super hybrid special power blade battery. The engine has a maximum power of 110 hp and a maximum torque of 135 Nm; the blade battery capacity is 8.32kWh and 18.32kWh, corresponding to a pure electric range of 55km and 120km, respectively.
