(1)Overhaul of steering knuckle shaft wear. Fitting clearance between the journal of the steering knuckle and the bearing: the diameter of the journal and the fitting clearance have a specified range value. Generally speaking, the journal diameter of the steering knuckle is not greater than 40mm, the fitting clearance is 0.040mm, and the journal diameter of the steering knuckle is 0.040mm. When it is larger than 40mm, the fitting clearance is 0.055mm. When it is found that the steering knuckle journal is worn and exceeds the range value, it should be replaced with a new journal immediately.
(2) Inspection of locking threads on steering knuckles. The lock nut can only be screwed with a wrench. If it is screwed by hand, it will easily cause loosening and wear of the thread. Once the locking thread is found to be damaged, the steering knuckle should be repaired or replaced.

(3)Inspection of the taper hole on the steering knuckle. The wear of the taper hole matched with the steering knuckle arm and other rods should be inspected with a feeler gauge. The thrust end face sinking of the taper neck matched with the taper hole shall not be less than 2mm. Otherwise, the steering knuckle needs to be replaced.
