The first MAXUS timing cover is that the valve chamber cover gasket is indeed aging and brittle, losing its sealing ability and causing oil leakage. This situation is good, as long as the valve chamber cover is opened and the gasket is replaced, it can be solved.
The second MAXUS is that the PCV valve of the crankcase ventilation system is blocked, causing the internal pressure to be too high, which eventually leads to oil leakage under pressure. If this defect is not found, it will cause more troubles in the future, such as oil leakage from the crankshaft oil seal and so on.

It is very simple to judge whether the MAXUS PCV valve is working normally: under idling conditions, you can instantly judge the working state of the PCV valve by testing the vacuum degree of the crankcase inlet with your finger. The main reasons for MAXUS engine oil leakage are as follows:
1. The gasket of the oil pan is damaged or the screw is loose and leaks oil.
2. The gasket of the oil drain screw plug of the oil pan is damaged. missing, or loose and leaking oil.
3. The timing gear cover gasket is improperly assembled, or damaged, or the screw is loose and leaks oil.
4. Deformation of the engine support plate or oil leakage due to poor gasket seal.
5. Oil leakage due to lax sealing of the valve cover gasket.
6. The front oil seal of the crankshaft is damaged and leaks oil.
7. The rear oil seal of the crankshaft is damaged and leaks oil.
